Campaign Summary
Abdul Latif Jameel Co. Ltd would like to inform owners of Lexus LX470 of a Special Service Campaign on their vehicles to replace the Airbag Control Unit, The subject vehicles are equipped with side Curtain –Shield – Airbags (CSA) which deploy from the roof rails in event of certain types of crashes, There is possibility for this CSA to be activated along with seat belt pr- tensioners due to improper calibration of angular velocity sensor which is responsible for sensing body roll motion If this CSA activate, the risk of minor injury to occupant will increase
